Stephen E. Capizzi, CBI, CFP®, CMFC is Managing Principal for CORE Financial Advisors, Inc.

Mr. Capizzi founded CORE Financial Advisors, Inc. after working closely with business owners in the various financial and business planning areas related to the sale and transfer of their business enterprise. His experience and knowledge in business valuation has provided him with a unique advantage in analyzing suitable investments for his clients. Prior to founding his consulting practice, Mr. Capizzi enjoyed a successful career in the banking and equipment financing industry representing major commercial financial institutions.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance and Marketing from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama. He is a member of The Financial Planning Association of Georgia Chapter where he has served as former Treasurer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Capizzi also serves on the Advisory Counsel of the National Institute of Certified College Planners (NICCP). He is a graduate of the Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) Programs offered through the College of Financial Planning, Denver, CO. Mr. Capizzi is licensed as a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner™ (CFP®) through the CFP® Board of Standards. In the year 2000, Mr. Capizzi had the privilege to co-author a book titled, Family Wealth Counseling: “Getting to the Heart of the Matter”.

Mr. Capizzi has been a resident of metropolitan Atlanta since 1985. He lives in Duluth, Georgia with his wife Kimberly and their son and daughter. He and his family are members of Perimeter Church in Duluth, Georgia.
